The CFDA has just named Pharrell the Fashion Icon of the year. Which, duh.
The non-profit trade organization for North-American designers just made the announcement via Twitter.

The Fashion Icon Award is given to an individual whose style has made a significant impact on popular culture on an international stage.
"If cool was a person, it would be Pharrell, not just for his looks and sense of style but for his kindness and openness. I cannot imagine anyone not seduced by him," said Diane von Furstenberg, fashion designer and president of the CFDA.
Pharrell follows in the footsteps of Rihanna, who nabbed last year's award—and shut down the CFDA Awards with her see-through sequined dress and a du-rag. Pharrell's win doesn't come as a surprise, given his personal style and style risks. Who else would rock a Chanel bellboy outfit to the Grammys?
The CFDA will honor Pharrell, as well as other winners, at the 2015 CFDA Fashion Awards in collaboration with Swarovski on June 1st at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall.
UPDATE: Pharrell has addressed his win.
