Dust La Rock, Co-Founder of Fool's Gold Records, Has Passed Away

Fool's Gold co-founder and art director Joshua Prince, aka Dust La Rock, has died.

Dust La Rock, born Joshua Prince, died today at the age of 38.

The New York-based designer/artist was best known as the co-founder of Fool's Gold Records, along with A-Trak and Nick Catchdubs. From 2007-2012, Dust La Rock served as the creative director for the label, creating some of its most iconic cover art as well as its logo. La Rock has designed cover art for artists like Duck Sauce, Action Bronson, and Danny Brown and also worked with brands as varied as Nike, FUCT, HUF, Us vs. Them, and Kidrobot.

A-Trak took to social media this evening to announce the tragic news to their fans.
