Here's something you may have not expected: Chrissy Teigen says she was fired from a modeling job for being "too fat."
During a behind the scenes video from her DuJour magazine shoot, the model revealed that Forever 21 hired her, then fired her not long after because of her weight.
"I showed up on set and they asked me if they could take a photo," she told DuJour. "And they shoot that photo off to my agency, who then calls me as I'm sitting in the make-up chair, and they say, 'You need to leave right now. They just said that you are fat and you need to get your measurements taken.'"
Never one to shy away from making her opinions known, she added: "I hate you, Forever 21. I hate you so much. Honestly, you're the worst."
It's insane to think that Teigen is even considered "fat." This just goes to show how ridiculous and unrealistic the fashion industry's standards of beauty can be. What's even more absurd is that there's actually a Yahoo Answers thread for "How to get as skinny as a Forever 21 model."
