Drake seems to be in a #nofuxgiven type of mood these days, and he is saying exactly what's on his mind. He recently said in a Rolling Stone profile that Macklemore's text to Kendrick Lamar after the Grammy's was "wack as fuck." His thoughts seemed to be in line with what a lot of people had already said, so no one really reacted, but we're not sure how his comments about the rap world and the art world managed to slip under the radar.

While visiting the James Turrell Retrospective at LACMA, Drake expressed his appreciation for the artist's work, but he also dissed other rappers for their art references on the mic. "I fuck with Turrell. He was a big influence on the visuals for my last tour," he said, only after saying (in what we suspect was a completely separate conversation), "It's like Hov can't drop bars these days without at least four art references! I would love to collect at some point, but I think the whole rap/art world thing is getting kind of corny."

Is that a shot at Jay Z? We highly doubt it, but it is a weird gripe to have. Is wanting a Picasso in your casa less hip-hop than rapping about watches, cars, or champagne? And is it only corny if you put it in your songs, but not if you pose with art on Instagram? We're just saying.
