Since its beginnings, Supreme has collaborated with artists big and small, ranging from graffiti legends like Dondi White to the richest living artist in the world, Damien Hirst. The collaborations have varied from re-appropiations of famous photographs to complete re-designs of the famous Supreme box logo—itself inspired by the work of artist Barbara Kruger.

Though they vary widely in their style and mediums, all of the artists that Supreme has worked with maintain a level of street credibility. With a mix of art gallery paintings, '90s skateboard photographs and portraits of rappers, Supreme has been at the forefront of incorporating art into street culture and mixing the two worlds. From the brand's origins in 1994 to the present day, this is A History of Supreme's Artist Collaborations.
