Pyer Moss hasn’t slowed down since dropping its debut collection just a year ago. The brand came through full throttle during New York Fashion Week for its spring/summer 2014 presentation. And a crowd including Rita Ora, Vashtie, and Mack Wilde were ready to see what the brand had in store.
This season designer Kerby Jean-Raymond re-visited his penchant for biker-inspired items with a more expanded motorcycle themed collection. This time around he’s diving into the extreme sports world of motocross, loosely inspired by Ryan Gosling's recent flick A Place Beyond the Pines. Presented were 15 different looks that mixed fabrics like denim, cashmere, and leather. Everyone, including Rihanna, copped its sick camo biker jacket last year. So if you were expecting a fresh new version, it returns this season in perforated leather and an additional navy colorway.
For a brand only being a year old, we're already convinced this label is no one-hit wonder. If Pyer Moss keeps its foot on the pedal, expect to see more solid collections in the future. But for now, try to cop these pieces right when they hit the shelves before your favorite celebrity does.
