There was a lot of buzz around H&M’s last collaboration with Maison Martin Margiela. Celebrities gave their stamps of approval and even attended a big launch party to support. All that noise didn’t necessarily turn into sales as the product sat on the shelves for some time. But if you thought that was the Swedish-retailer's last effort to combine luxury names with low prices, think again.

H&M has announced its latest designer collaboration—this time, with French designer Isabel Marant. The native Parisian is a seasoned fashion vet. She’s worked with names like Yohji Yamamoto, Martine Sitbon, and Chloé just to name a few, and has run four different labels in her career. While she’s strictly made collections for women, this collaboration will mark her first time including menswear. Don't doubt her skills just yet as she’s no stranger to men’s style. She’s famously known for her effortless tomboy aesthetic. It's time for all you guys to keep her name on your radar.

It’s too early to tell what will be included in the collection, but Marant says, “The collection is infused with this kind of easiness and attitude. Everything can be mixed following one’s own instincts: my take on fashion is all about personality.” Just like the past MMM collection, this collaboration is scheduled for a November 2013 release. We will keep you posted once more news and images become available. For the time being, learn more about the designer in the video above.
