Miko Grimes, the wife of Buccaneers cornerback Brent Grimes, is known for being a little bit of a loose cannon. From blasting the NFL for being "the SHITTIEST, SHADIEST, DISRESPECTFUL professional sport in the WORLD" to calling out her husband’s then-teammate Ryan Tannehill, Grimes doesn’t bite her tongue for anyone, and she's known to say and do some pretty outlandish things.

[Carr] was against [the offensive line] protesting. And they had a fight in the locker room before that Monday night game with the Redskins [Ed. note: It was actually a Sunday night game.] They were fighting in the locker room, and that’s the only all-black offensive line in the NFL is the Raiders.

With all of that in mind, you should probably take this story with a grain of salt. But on Tuesday morning, Miko made an appearance on The Breakfast Club and made some pretty off-the-wall accusations about the Raiders for some reason. She claimed the Oakland offensive linemen intentionally allowed quarterback Derek Carr to get hurt during a game earlier this season after he asked them not to kneel before a game as part of the league-wide player protests.

Here’s the story Miko told (it starts at around the 12:30 mark in the video above):

It’s crazy how people will make up lies and tell a story so false and untrue 2 get them some attention I️ hope it was worth it all lies😭😂😭😂😭

For what it's worth, Carr ended up getting sacked four times against the Redskins. He also went down with a back injury the following week during a game against the Broncos.

It didn’t take long for a Raiders offensive lineman to respond to Miko’s claim. Donald Penn jumped on Twitter shortly after her Breakfast Club interview aired and referred to Miko’s story as "all lies."

Miko then responded to Penn by sending some tweets of her own. She told Penn to stop calling her husband, referenced a recent confrontation Penn had with a fan, and plugged her podcast while sticking to her story.

It’s not all that surprising to see Miko say something like this. But she obviously made some pretty serious accusations against players from an opposing team here, and it’ll be interesting to see if the Raiders and Buccaneers have anything to say about it. In the meantime, it doesn’t appear as though Miko is going to stop pushing her story—and her podcast—on social media.
