Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down, never gonna run around and desert you. The Cavaliers are legends for this.

During Cleveland’s 1980s-themed night at Quicken Loans Arena, the Cavs treated their fans to an unforgettable performance from the Cavs roster of Rick Astley’s 1987 gift that keeps on giving, “Never Gonna Give You Up.”

Take note, NBA media teams: this is how it’s done.

The video, which features exquisite lip-syncing, hair-twirling, and dancing, stars every member of Cleveland’s roster, including prominent roles for LeBron James, J.R. Smith, and Kyrie Irving.

The players sported authentic ’80s regalia including gaudy jackets and Jheri curl wigs in the video, which played ahead of pre-game introductions before the Cavs’ game against the Heat Friday.

I CAN'T STOP WATCHING THE CLEVELAND CAVALIERS RICK ROLL

Yes, it was one of the greatest “Rick Rolls” in recent memory. Rickrolling is leading people to believe they are going to find one thing, only to replace it with the very ’80s music video for Astley’s hit.

After losing three straight, the Cavs (15-5) have bounced back to win two in a row, and they're well on their way to winning their third straight with a resounding win over the Heat, LeBron James’ former team. Perhaps they should start playing this video before every home game.
