If you've seen the Golden State Warriors play, then you've definitely witnessed the gesture Steph Curry does after he makes a three-pointer. You know, the one where he taps his chest and points to the sky. His mom Sonya does it, too.

Even the little legend that is Riley Curry does it.

Where did this gesture come from? Tim Kawakami of the San Jose Mercury News got to the bottom of this and many of the other quirks that... enrich Curry's life, before, during, and even after each Warriors game. But anyway, back to the three-point celebration.

Back in college my freshman year, my mom and I started that. Every time after the national anthem stopped, I’d find her in the stands whenever she came to my game and we’d do the sign to each other.

Click here to check out the rest of Kawakami's piece in which Steph explains the all-out run he does prior to tip-off and through the tunnel back to the locker room, the bad nail-biting habit that his mother and wife hate, and the adventures his mouthpiece goes through during the course of a game.
