Allen Iverson Says He Sees a Lot of Himself in LeBron James: “His Heart Is All Mine”

Allen Iverson was asked which current NBA player reminds him most of himself.

When we interviewed Allen Iverson earlier this year, we asked him which current NBA player reminds him of himself the most, and he said Russell Westbrook. He contemplated his answer for a long time when we spoke with him, though, and now, it sounds like he’s changed his answer altogether. During an interview with ESPN’s Rachel Nichols that aired on The Jump today, AI was once again asked which NBA player reminds him of himself, and while he mentioned Westbrook as well as Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant, he said that he identifies most with LeBron James.

“LeBron ain’t got none of my game, you know what I’m saying?” he said. “But his heart is all mine.”

AI also discussed the NBA dress code, his Hall of Fame induction, and the time he stepped over Tyronn Lue (yes, he still hates how much people make fun of Lue for it). Check out the interview in the clip above.
