By now, we all know about how Kanye Westpreviewed his latest album The Life of Pablo—which was still called Swish at the time—for Lamar Odom at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center earlier this year. It’s one of the things that reportedly helped Odom recover after his near-death experience. But oddly enough, Odom is not the first NBA star to get a preview of a Kanye album at that same hospital.

Back in June 2013, Dwight Howard and Kanye both welcomed children into the world in the maternity ward at Cedars-Sinai. In fact, Howard actually booked the suite that Kanye and Kim Kardashian wanted at the hospital, which reportedly prompted Kanye to pay him a visit during his stay. And during a recent interview with The Players’ Tribune, Howard said that, in addition to meeting with him, Kanye also previewed his Yeezus album for him right there in the hospital and rapped along to some of the songs from it.

“My son and his daughter were in the same hospital when they were born,” Howard said. “He was down the hall from me. He was trying to figure out who bought the big room. ‘Yo, man, you bought the big room?’ I was like, ‘Nah, man, I didn’t know you was in here.’ He started playing one of his albums, and he really got into character. He’s rapping, and I felt like I was in a concert. This is in the maternity ward. After that, I was just so shocked that it was Kanye, I just couldn’t stop listening to Kanye for about three weeks.”
