UPDATE (8:20 p.m.): It appears most of the noise came from Josh Smith and a Clippers assistant coach, who yelled profanities at each other in the locker room after the game. J.J. Redick, always good for a great quote, downplayed the incident.

J.J. Redick jokingly classified the scene inside the locker room as “loud noises,” though it’s clear the team’s upset after falling below .500 with their seventh loss in their last nine games.

Original story: The Los Angeles Clippers lost to the Toronto Raptors on Sunday afternoon 91-80. They scored just 11 points in the second quarter, and found themselves down 29 points at halftime. It was the Clips third straight loss, and the team's 6-7 record is their worst start to a season since 2010.

As you might expect, players are getting frustrated. There were a lot of good feelings around L.A. after DeAndre Jordan spurned Dallas to return to the Clippers, but all that excitement appears to have disappeared. After the game, a Clippers beat reporter for the Orange County Register reported being able to hear a whole lotta yelling coming from the team's locker room, and not just some "We've got to play better guys!" type of stuff.

Loud commotion inside the Clipper locker room. Can hear it through the walls.
This isn't cup-against-the-wall stuff. Yelling could be pretty clearly heard a room away. Team has a lot to figure out. Couldn't tell who

This could be nothing more than some of the Clippers veterans voicing their concerns after a tough stretch early in the season. But the reports of dissension between point guard Chris Paul and Jordan over the offseason, before Jordan came back, certainly make this dustup something to keep an eye on if things keep going south in Clipperland.
