Steph Curry Throws MVP Level Shade at People Who Think the Warriors Got Lucky Last Season

Over the last week, there have been some teams—specifically, the Clippers—who have come out and tried to downplay the Warriors’ win in the 2015 NBA Finals. Clippers head coach Doc Rivers said Golden State was “lucky” that they didn’t have to play the Spurs or Clips in the 2015 NBA Playoffs during an interview last week. And ever since then, Warriors players have been throwing shots back in his direction.

Klay Thompsonkicked things off over the weekend when he ethered the Clippers for questioning the Warriors’ title run.

“That sounds pretty bitter to me,” he said when he was told about Rivers’ comments. “If we got lucky, look at our record against them last year. I’m pretty sure we smacked them.”

It continued today when Draymond Green—who is never one to shy away from ripping other NBA teams—sent what sounded like more shots at the Clippers:

And then, just to put an exclamation point on the whole thing, Steph Curry was asked his opinion on what people have been saying about the Warriors lately. He had the perfect response to it:
