The Philadelphia Eagles are playing against the New York Giants tonight for a first place tie in the NFC East. The Eagles are looking for their first victory in the division after starting off 0-2. They're playing at home, in front of their Lincoln Financial Field crowd. Needless to say, Philly doesn't need any more motivation, but one or a couple of Giants fans gave it to them after disrespecting the Rocky Balboa statue.
According to TMZ Sports, there is no video or surveillance to pinpoint who did such a thing to the statue, adding, "I'm not sure it's a crime. It's a crime against humanity!" Could you imagine an Eagles fan doing something like this to, say, the Statue of Liberty? First of all, that would be incredible/impossible and, well, that's about it. Forget we ever mentioned it.
