When ESPN revealed that Kobe Bryanthad landed at No. 93 on their #NBArank list earlier this week, there were a lot of NBA fans who were upset with them for ranking Kobe so low. This is Kobe Bean Bryant we’re talking about here! How dare ESPN rank him that low on any list, let alone one that is supposed to rank the best players in the league?

To be perfectly honest, we’re still on the fence when it comes to our opinion on ESPN deciding to rank Kobe that low. On the one hand, we'd rather have someone like No. 91 Brandon Knight on our team right now over Kobe because you don’t really know what you’re going to get out of 37-year-old Kobe this season. On the other, BRANDON KNIGHT IS RANKED HIGHER THAN KOBE?!

While other people are outraged about where he landed, though, Kobe isn’t upset. Or at least, he’s not going to give ESPN the satisfaction of knowing that they got under his skin again. So when he was asked about landing at No. 93 last night, he brushed the question off and didn’t have much to say about it.

“I don’t need to defend that [ranking]. Nobody does, really,” he said. “Please don’t ask me about silly stuff like that.”

Do you think Kobe deserved to be so low on the list?
