It wasn't that long ago when the 49ers used to be good. After all, they were in the Super Bowl two years ago. Since then, Jim Harbaugh split for Michigan, like half of the team retired, and Colin Kaepernick has arguably regressed. Kaepernick looked spectacularly mediocre against the Cardinals. So mediocre, in fact, that he started the game with a pick six.

And then followed it up with another pick six.

And by the end of the half, Kaepernick threw almost as many picks as he had completed passes. In the most trash stat line of the day, Kaepernick threw four interceptions and completed five passes before the second quarter mercifully ended.

On a relevant side note: The Niners have been so shit that Chris Johnson looked like a great running back again. He had 21 carries for 96 yards and two touchdowns. The Cardinals scored 40 while the 49ers put up a miserable seven.
