Roy Jones Jr. was once named "Fighter of the Decade" for the 1990s. It is now 2015, and Jones, at age 46, is still boxing.

Jones knocked out opponent Eric Watkins, who is 27 years young, in the sixth round tonight during their bout at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut for his 62nd career victory when he hit Watkins with a strong left hook up against the ropes. Watkins went down and, dazed, motioned for the refs to stop the fight.

Roy Jones Jr. just told people to buy his new album. This is worse than I realized.

But since this is 2015, and because Jones is also a "rapper" on the side, we'd be remiss if we didn't mention that Jones actually asked the public to go out and buy his new album when the fight was over, according to ESPN's Myron Medcalf.

If you were unaware, Jones dropped his first album, Round One: The Album, way back in 2001, and actually performed one of his songs immediately following one of his fights last year while still wearing his boxing shorts and championship belt.

Needless to say, like any man much past his prime who is using his withering athletic platform to pump up his rap career, Jones would fall prey to the wrath of Twitter, who sees and roasts all.

If Roy Jones Jr raps his way into the ring this will be all worth it.
Why is Roy Jones Jr fighting? He gonna fuck around and get slumped again by a nobody tomato can.

Roy Jones Jr is STILL fighting! Pretty sure his opponent tonight wasn't even conceived when Jones fought in the 1988 Olympics in Seoul.
