Depending on how you buy your sporting tickets, odds are you've been solicited at some point to purchase more. And usually when it's done through email, it's cold, impersonal, and genuinely heartless (honestly, that's how most of us prefer it). But a Phoenix Suns team rep took the opposite route and tried to put the sell on a prospective ticket buyer by asking her to lunch/dinner. Here's the email (with the dude's name redacted) as posted by TMZ Sports:

After seeing this message the woman's husband tweeted at the Suns: "Hey @Suns I think your sales reps are hitting on my wife" (this tweet has since been deleted). And though they denied any attempted banging of one's spouse, they did try to smooth things over by offering him two tickets to any home game he wants. (Which is not a bad trade-off, we guess?)

When asked about their employee who fired off the email the team said:

"It's a coaching moment. He's a young, hard working kid who's only a few months out of college. The lesson is just be more clear, so there's no room for misinterpretation."

No word on whether or not this email was just his standard sales pitch, or a one-time thing. But, if you happen to be on the team's mailing list, we'd love to know.
