If you've ever seen Floyd Mayweather walk into the ring, you're very aware he has a lot of belts. On Monday, he might lose one of them.
Mayweather is going to be stripped of his WBO 147 lbs. championship belt (the one he won from Manny Pacquiao) on Monday for not complying with organization rules.
The WBO isn't sticking up for Manny Pacquiao. However, Mayweather is being punished because the WBO expected him to vacate the WBA and WBO 154 lbs. belts for the 147 lbs. title.
It sucks, but Mayweather probably isn't sweating it. Mayweather was already thinking about relinquishing his titles (a statement he later backtracked on), and at this point, ending his career with a perfect record is probably the main priority.
