The Warriors absolutely obliterated the Rockets during Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals to take a commanding 3-0 series lead. So it's hard to blame them too much for being confident heading into Game 4 last night. But apparently, they were so confident that they were planning for a sweep of the series. Golden State's public relations department even went as far as to schedule a media session for today back in Oakland to celebrate the sweep and put together this media advisory prior to Game 4:

1.

Welp. Warriors vice president for communication Raymond Ridder confirmed the legitimacy of the memo with ESPN. And while he pointed out that it wasn't actually distributed to members of the media, it did make its way back to the Rockets. Each Rockets player reportedly received a copy of it after Game 4.

"They're confident in their team," Josh Smith said after seeing it, before downplaying the impact that it would have during Game 5 of the series. "It's not added motivation; we just go out there and play."

Smith can say that now. But how do you not use this as bulletin board material prior to Game 5? Rockets coach Kevin McHale should print out a thousand copies of the memo and have Houston's locker room wallpapered with it between now and Wednesday.
