Prior to today, Aaron Hernandez's fiancée Shayanna Jenkins was facing perjury charges for allegedly giving false testimony to a grand jury last year. However, in a somewhat stunning twist in Hernandez's trial, a judge just granted Jenkins immunity, provided she agrees to testify against Hernandez for the prosecution. This could end up being a big blow for Hernandez and his lawyers. Prosecutors believe that Jenkins helped get rid of the gun that the former Patriots tight end allegedly used to kill Odin Lloyd in June 2013. And now, she'll have to take the stand and reveal whether or not that's the case or refuse to testify and risk getting held in contempt and thrown in jail for not talking.

Hernandez's trial has been postponed so far this week because of snow. But it's expected to continue tomorrow. Stay tuned for more information about this latest wrinkle in the case.
