J.R. Smith Hits Jason Smith's Head on a Pass, and the Rest of the Game Against the Pistons Wasn't Much Better

The Knicks are now 5-30 with little hope of things getting better.

With Carmelo Anthony, Amare Stoudamire, and Iman Shumpert out, the Knicks looked something like a pickup basketball team made of complete strangers compared to their opponents. Their offense was completely busted, shooting 35.2 percent in their 97-81 loss against the Pistons.

Perhaps the moment that symbolizes the Knicks' 48 minutes of struggle the most is this botched pass between J.R. Smith and Jason Smith. The former Smith definitely shouldn't have passed up that wide-one three-pointer (he finished 5-for-9 from beyond the arc). Still, gotta stay alert, man.

The Knicks are now 5-30. At this point, you have to make sure Anthony's knees are healthy—and Jahlil Okafor's.
