The Scottish Premiership is not generally known as a hub of great goal scorers, but this is absolutely ridiculous.
18-year-old St. Mirren midfielder Stevie Mallan—a native of Scotland—scored a goal reminiscent of Diego Maradona’s “Goal of the Century” from the 1986 World Cup. The amazing strike proved to be the winner in a 3-1 St. Mirren win over Dundee, and helped the team move out of the bottom of the Scottish Premiership table.
While Mallan may not quite get to Maradona’s level, he’ll at least always have this golazo.
