It didn't take long for the Kevin-Love-to-the-Lakers rumors to start this season. Even though Love literally just joined the Cavaliers a few months ago, a report came out early last month indicating that he was interested in joining the Lakers after the 2014-15 NBA season. At the time, a lot of people downplayed it. But reporters have continued to hound Love about it so, earlier today, he put a stop to all the rumors…for now.

During an appearance on ESPN's Mike & Mike in the Morning, Love was asked about his future. And he said everything he could to let it be known that he isn't planning on leaving LeBron James' side for a long, long time.

"Since I was traded to Cleveland this summer, I've said since Day 1 that I'm a Cleveland Cavalier long term," he said, "and I plan for it to be that way. I want to grow with this team. There's a lot of guys with a lot of unique talent, one-through-fifteen, on our roster who are going to be here for a long time. If I could end all the speculation now, I would. But people are going to continue to talk no matter what. I just want to continue getting better with this team long term. I'm a Cleveland Cavalier."

So there you have it. Love isn't going anywhere. Got it?
