Over the course of the Golden State Warriors' current seven-game winning streak, Stephen Curry has not only shot the ball pretty well, but he has more importantly, limited his turnovers. So, what's the reason behind his newfound focus? Look no further than his own mother, Sonya.

Per the San Jose Mercury News

"Over two (in a game), I owe her some money," Curry said, smiling. "And the Phoenix game (when Curry committed 10 turnovers), she racked up pretty heavily. So if I go below two, I get the money back. That's my incentive, my motivation."

While Curry didn't specify how much he gives his mom when he exceeds the two turnover per game limit, it must be substantial enough to have an impact on his game going forward. With Stephen putting up a 4-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio over the last seven games, it looks like the bet is working wonders. Hey, whatever works, right?
