LeGarrette Blount Reportedly Walked Off the Field Before the End of the Steelers' Game Last Night (Update)

He might not be a Steeler for much longer.

Steelers running back LeGarrette Blount wasn't happy with the way that he was used during Pittsburgh's Monday Night Football game against the Titans last night. He didn't record a single carry and was only on the field for two plays in Tennessee, while his teammate LeVeon Bell toted the football 33 times for a career-high 204 yards. So according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Blount walked off the field before the game ended.

After leaving the field, the Post-Gazette reports that Blount got dressed in the Steelers' locker room and then got on to the Steelers' team bus before any of his other teammates. The Post-Gazette also reports that at least one Pittsburgh player wanted Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin to leave Blount in Nashville and force him to find his own way home. And while it's unclear whether or not Tomlin did that, it appears as though Blount is going to face some disciplinary action from the Steelers and could even get released by the team as a result of what he did.

Stay tuned to see what action Pittsburgh takes with regards to their backup running back. This is probably the last thing Tomlin & Co. want to be dealing with after a big win on the road.

UPDATE:

The Steelers just announced that they have released Blount.
