Before the US men's soccer team's heroics against Ghana, we had the US men's hockey team to cheer on. The team got slapped up by Canada (the eventual champs) and then clapped up by Finland in the bronze medal game. The defeats were disappointing because of the high expectations after the hockey team's upset win over the host team, Russia. America won off the wings of shootout-wining freedom known as T.J. Oshie.
