On Saturday, former NBA player Larry Johnson had his own interesting suggestion on how to combat the alleged comments made by Donald Sterling regarding African Americans. Here's the tweet by LJ:

Black people your Focusing on the wrong thing. We should be focusing on having our own, Own team own League! To For Self!!

As the New York Daily News points out, this isn't the first time has commented on NBA ownership.

During the 1999 NBA Finals between the Knicks and Spurs, Johnson caused a stir by saying: “We’ve got a lot of rebellious slaves on this [Knicks] team.”

Let's play the hypothetical game here. What do you think of a possible all-African American basketball league? Whether you like the idea or not, one thing is for sure, an all-white basketball league would be...well...interesting to watch.
