Before you do anything, watch listen to the video below. That’s not a racecar, it’s not a million dollar hypercar; it’s an Infiniti.

The Q50 Eau Rogue rolled into the North American Auto Show with no engine to speak of (other than a golf car motor), but thankfully Infiniti granted the Eau Rogue a powerplant of substantial proportions for Geneva – from the GT-R.

Underneath the hood is Nissan’s 3.8L twin-turbocharged V6, with a handy power bump and a new transmission. The Eau Rogue produces 560-horsepower and 443 lb.-ft. of torque (a 15hp boost), driven to all four wheels through a new seven-speed transmission. The GT-R all-wheel-drive system was not carried over, however. Instead, Infiniti has donated a 50:50 torque-split system from in-house. Regardless, Godzilla’s heart-transplant will allegedly blast the Eau Rogue from zero to 60mph in less than four seconds, and up to an eye watering 180mph.

This will undoubtedly be one of the happiest moments for the Nissan crowd, but while the Eau Rogue concept has yet to be confirmed for a production run, it could end up being just another cool concept. Sources do speculate that if it does survive, it would retail for around $100k, putting it right up there with the top German saloons. We sincerely hope it does survive, and we’re not alone on that one.
