Athletes like to spend lots of money. The 30 for 30 ESPN documentary Broke proved that to us. For many players, a lot of that money goes into cars. Then, once they get those cars, they obviously have to personalize them and make them even more extravagant than any regular car on the road. Whether they're gigantic rims, crazy paint schemes or initials stitched into the interior, each player finds his way to make his mark. This Is How 15 NBA Players Customized Their Cars.

Team: Chicago Bulls
Car: Cadillac Escalade EXT

Boozer has a pretty large stable of vehicles, but none of them is as overbearing as his Escalade, and that's with a lifted Wrangler in the lineup. He took the "truck" over to his buddies at The Auto Firm and smoked out the head and taillights and put some white-out rims on its feet.

Car: Chevrolet Camaro

LeBron also chose to keep it milky with the white-on-white-on-white Chevrolet Camaro. It's different from the Challengers that so many other NBA players choose, but the muscle car love is obviously there. The Storm Trooper sure looks good on those Savini Wheels and the custom pinstriping on the hood is a nice subtle touch.

Car: Jeep Wrangler

Like his fellow teammate, Bulls forward Carlos Boozer, Taj took his Jeep Wrangler and put it on stilts. Unfortunately, his fun didn't last long, as the Rubicon burned to a crisp on Melrose in L.A. months after he made the purchase.

Anthony Morrow stepped over to California Wheels in San Jose to get his Dodge Challenger fixed up. He had new grilles put in the face, and tossed some big ol' rims on it.

Stephen Jackson has always been an outlandish and outspoken player on the court, and his Range Rover reflects that perfectly. Normally, these cars are pretty quiet and classy, but Jackson has two-tone red and white paint, further layered by massive red rims. Let's hope he can get back into the league soon and continue creating ridiculous car customizations.

Gordon still went the matte route, but chose the less popular white instead of black. With that said, this Panamera is CLEAN. Paired with a Strut grille, LED runners, white lips on the rims, and smoked lights make this a stunning ride.

Trunk space? Blake Griffin don't need no stinkin' trunk space. That's what subs are for. The eight-spoke black rims match the matte black wrap, and the STRUT grille finished off the look.

Matte navy blue is a pretty rare color to see on a car, and it actually works really well with the busy black rims. He's also got the UConn Husky in the grille and on the floor mats to rep where he played school ball.

Barbosa had this black Dodge fitted with a wide-body kit and put some ultra deep-set Forgiatos to match. He's also got his initials stitched into the floor mats, the front seat headrests, and the doors.

Finally, we have somebody with the classic, basic chrome rims. Seems like nobody does this look anymore these days.

George Hill got wavy on us with his one-of-one old-school Cutlass, giving it two-tone appeal with the paint and the Forgiatos.

James Harden isn't afraid to have something on his face, with that beard, obviously. He's also not afraid to get into somebody else's face, if need be. The matte yellow Chevy Camaro that he had while he was still with the Thunder made plenty of noise, emphasized by the added Kicker sound system, 24-inch rims, and an integrated K40 radar.

The Rockets main man sure loves his Kicker audio, doesn't he? This is his third ride with the subs (He also had/has a Benz S-Class). The flat black and red trim accents make a pretty good combo.
