Normally, when a movie calls for a cool car to be wrecked, the team involved builds a really good replica and then drives it into a wall/another car/a tree. This is perfect, because we get to see the fantasy of someone crashing a '36 Auburn in a car chase without having to waste an actual '36 Auburn.
The people behind "The Wolf of Wall Street," however, are apparently evil, as they wrecked a real 25th Anniversary Edition Lamborghini Countach in the movie. At least it looks like the car only sustained damage to the body, so it should be repairable, but still. This is just wrong.
