It appears as though USC's head coaching search is finally over. After firing former head coach Lane Kiffin back in September, the team reportedly reached out to a number of college and NFL head coaches about the open position. And that led to lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of rumors surrounding the Trojans' coaching vacancy. But according to ESPN's Joe Schad, they have finally filled it:

Steve Sarkisian will be the next head coach of the Trojans. He returns to the team just five years after serving as USC's offensive coordinator before bolting to become the head coach of the Washington Huskies. Is he the right guy for the job? TBD. But we're glad that USC made up their minds. We don't know how many more rumors we would have been able to take.
