Rolls-Royce has always made a point of catering to the rich and eccentric, but in 1925 the company went to particularly great extremes. For example, this 1925 Rolls-Royce Torpedo Sports Tourer comes with a machine gun trailer for hunting tigers in India. Why? Because that was both legal and very stylish in the '20s.
The car was originally commissioned by Maharaja of Kotah Umed Singh II to meet his particular needs, which were apparently sumptuous leather, a hand-cranked .45 caliber machine gun, a pistol holster, and an elephant gun rack.
It's up for auction in Las Vegas right now and is expected to fetch more than $1 Million.
