You saw the commercials. The Kobe System convinced the likes of Serena Williams, Jerry Rice, and Aziz Ansari. But can it bring in its most crucial client yet?

It's looking extremely likely that Dwight Howard will leave LA next season. He's announcing which team he's headed to on July 10, the first day when players can officially sign with new teams, while the Rockets are going hard to bring Howard to Texas. Plus, whenSlim Thug is showing you benefits like cheaper housing and not being ragged on by Bryant all season, it's pretty hard to say no.

But when Bryant and Lakers representatives met up with Howard on Tuesday to convince him to return, the Black Mamba didn't plead; he came out with a hard sell. If he stays, he's going to learn how to be a champion with Bryant teaching him. Witnesses at the Lakers' presentation said Bryant was saying lines like "You need to learn how it's done first, and I can teach you here" and "You have to learn how it's done. I know how to do it and I've learned from the best—players who have won multiple times over and over." No word if he simply ended his presentation with a "You're welcome" though.

Sounds intense, but will the promise of Kobe's system convince Dwight Howard to stay? Will he be able to teach Howard the true meaning of being "a different animal and the same beast?" Howard's final decision is just a few days away.
