When did you get your first car? Most likely, you were probably 15, 16, or 17 when you got it. Those tend to be the most common ages for kids to get their first cars. But Portland, Ore. native Sorella Stoute started her car shopping really, really early.

Stoute—who is only 14 months old—bought a 1962 Austin Healey recently. The good news is that she only paid $225 for it. The bad news? She's got about 15 years to go before she can drive the car—and her dad was not happy when she bought it. That's because she did it accidentally when she got into the eBay app on her father's smartphone.

Not to worry, though. Paul Stoute and his wife are making the most of a weird situation. They plan on restoring the car over the course of the next decade and giving it to their daughter when she turns 16. And they also realize that what Sorella did could have been much worse.

"I'm just glad she didn't buy the $38,000 Porsche I was looking at," Paul said.

Yikes. That would have been one hell of a first car for a 14-month-old.
