Is Aaron Hernandez in a gang? This photo that was obtained by TMZ earlier this week seems to indicate that he is in one. But police are going to examine the multiple tattoos that he has all over his body to try and determine whether or not he really runs with a gang. They're doing it to try and keep him safe while he's locked up in prison.
"We'll be looking at his tattoos to see if there are any symbols that affiliate with gangs," Bristol County Sheriff Thomas Hodgson told the Boston Herald. "We have to always be vigilant around security and not place him somewhere where there are rival gang members."
For now, Hernandez is still locked up by himself in a tiny cell. But before he's moved to a location that will force him to interact with others, his tats will come under scrutiny. It's just one more crazy piece of news that has come out of Hernandez's ongoing murder investigation.
