Saints wide receiver Joe Morgan obviously isn't the first NFL player to get arrested for driving while intoxicated. But he is the first NFL player in recent history to get busted for DWI after falling asleep behind the wheel of his car.

Morgan got popped on Saturday night in Jefferson Parish, La. after a state trooper found him asleep in his car on the Earhart Expressway. According to a police report, the trooper had to wake Morgan up in order to get him to step out of the car. And when he finally did, he was reportedly unable to stand up straight and appeared to be intoxicated. His blood alcohol content was later listed at 0.218, which is more than twice the legal limit of 0.08. He was arrested for DWI and for driving without a license.

Morgan was released early Sunday on a $1,150 bond. The Saints haven't responded to the arrest as of yet. What was this guy thinking getting behind the wheel in that condition?!
