According to a report from Bloomberg, Tesla is prepared to announce at least 4,750 sales of its Model S for the first quarter of the fiscal year. If true, it puts the company ahead of the 4,421 Chevy Volts and 3,695 Nissan Leafs sold within Q1.
The news comes as Tesla's stock has doubled in the past year and the company's profits have increased dramatically over a 12-month period. Watch out, Detroit. Elon Musk is coming for you.
