The Oklahoma City Thunder came thisclose to sweeping the Houston Rockets in the first round of the 2013 NBA Playoffs last night. All Serge Ibaka needed to do here was connect on an easy layup attempt and….OH, NO! HE MISSED IT!
Not to worry, though, Thunder fans. You still hold a commanding 3-1 lead in the series, and Game 5 will be played back in OKC on Wednesday night. So we still fully expect the Thunder to advance to the second round of the playoffs. But that doesn't mean that this blown layup doesn't still sting.
