When it launched in 2009, the Lingerie Football League was viewed as little more than a gimmick, a joke that would blow over in a couple months. Three seasons and multiple international expansions later, the LFL, now known as the Legends Football League, is not only still around, but is indeed thriving.
“How is this possible?” we asked. The answer is actually pretty simple: Once you get beyond the fact that they play in lingerie, the LFL has a lot of the same qualities as the NFL. There are monster hits, great plays and creative touchdown dances. The fact that these are all performed by beautiful women wearing barely any clothes definitely helps.
