Yup, the average Volvo buyer has a fantastic credit score of 818, followed by Lexus, Acura, Audi, and Infiniti. On the opposite end of the spectrum, Mitsubishi buyers have an average credit score of 694, and is only slightly bettered by Suzuki, Dodge, Kia, and Scion.

While it's obvious that the main decider here is the value and prestige of the car – people with lots of money and good credit buy luxury cars – we don't think it's surprising that Volvo, which is a very sensible choice, attracts the people who have been the most sensible with their money.
