Robert Griffin III played through a lot of pain during the Redskins playoff game against the Seahawks on Sunday. You could tell just by watching him. But, now, we've got some audio to prove it, too. The NFL microphones captured RG3 talking to 'Skins offensive lineman Trent Williams during the first quarter of the game. And, they just released that audio as part of their weekly "SoundFX."

In the clip, RGIII confessed that something wasn't right with his knee in the first quarter of the game. Here's the convo that took place between Williams and Griffin III:

WILLIAMS: Are you sure you're all right, bro?

GRIFFIN III: Yeah, I'm going to be safe.

WILLIAMS: You tweaked it when you were trying to back up?

GRIFFIN III: Yeah, my foot kind of went wah-wah.

WILLIAMS: Did that shock you a little bit?

GRIFFIN III: Yeah, scared the shit out of me. [Laughs]

WILLIAMS: All right, be smart.

GRIFFIN III: I will. I promise.

As we said earlier, you could tell that RGIII was in pain on Sunday, so this new audio shouldn't really come as a surprise. But, it definitely helps put that pain into perspective. RGIII knew something wasn't right. And, unfortunately, his assessment turned out to be true. Now, we just hope he can recover from his knee injury quickly and get back onto the football field soon.
