What would a college basketball season be without its upsets? Unranked Butler accomplished one today against No. 1 Indiana in an overtime thriller tonight, 88-86.
Tied with less than four seconds remaining, a Butler player managed to get in the paint and score the game-winner with an awkward running floater. This player wasn't Rotnei Clark or Roosevelt Jones, who led the team with 19 and 16 points, respectively. It came from none other than, you guessed it, former walk-on Alex Barlow.
