According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, the Oklahoma City Thunder have dealt James Harden as part of a huge trade package, to the Houston Rockets. In addition to receiving Harden, the Rockets will also receive Cole Aldridge, Lazar Hayward and Daequan Cook. Meanwhile, the Thunder have acquired Kevin Martin, Jeremy Lamb and what is being regarded as "'significant' future draft picks."
After Harden reportedly turned down the latest offer sheet from the Thunder, Oklahoma City general manager Sam Presti may have felt as though looking elsewhere was the best option and that's when the Rockets came knocking.
