At times, Larry Fitzgerald's play on the football field appears to be out of this world. But, it sounds like that's not enough for him. During a recent interview that appeared on the Arizona Cardinals website, the All-Pro wideout revealed that he wants to go to outer space one day. He's just waiting for the cost of a space shuttle flight to go down dramatically.
"I try to make decisions…within my means," he said. "I want to go into orbit. But, it costs a million dollars right now, and that's out of my budget. In a couple of years, when that [price] comes on down a little bit, I will do that and try it out, but right now, it's on my bucket list. It's just not feasible right now."
Hmmm…Didn't you just sign an eight-year, $128.5 million contract last year, Larry? Seems like you should have plenty of dough to spare to hit the intergalactic highway sometime soon. But, if you're really that concerned about saving a few bucks, we've got one word for you: Orbitz. Safe travels!
