You can't blame Michael Beasley for being confident. Earlier this month, he signed a new deal with the Phoenix Suns, a team that's rebuilding right now and that could give Super Cool Beas the opportunity to finally live up to all of the hype he had coming out of college. But, his goals for next season are, well, let's just say "lofty," to say the least. Specifically, Beasley thinks that he's going to be—ready for this?—an NBA All-Star.

"In my mind, I'm going to be an All-Star this coming season," he said during a radio interview recently. "All I want to do is win. Whether I get the recognition for what I do on the floor or not, as long as we're winning I'm okay with that."

Beasley's stats last season with the Minnesota Timberwolves weren't awful. He did score about 11 points and grab about four rebounds per game. But, All-Star?! Ahead of other Western Conference forwards like Dirk Nowitzki, Blake Griffin, Kevin Love, and…well, you get the point. How 'bout sticking to trying to accomplish team goals next season, Mike? We just don't want you to be too disappointed when February rolls around.
