Did Jason Whitlock Fire A Racist Shot At Jeremy Lin After Yesterday's Game?

Did Jason Whitlock Fire A Racist Shot At Jeremy Lin After Yesterday's Game?

Shortly after Jeremy Lin went linsane last night and scored a career-high 38 points leading the Knicks to a victory over the Lakers, FOX columnist Jason Whitlock took to his Twitter account to share an interesting yet very suspect thought. In the tweet (screengrab above), Whitlock says that "some lucky lady in NYC is gonna feel a couple inches of pain tonight." Given the timing of the post and the key phrases used, there's plenty of signs pointing to this being an insulting reference to the New York point guard. Surprisingly, the racist remark is still up there for everyone to see, so we're assuming that no one in upper management has wrung his neck just yet. We expect the usual apology and "things were taken out of context" tweet to come real soon.

Funny, I guess I'm slow, but I did not hear any comment concerning race, uh you know, like the Japanese politicians several years ago that said our education system is a failure because of basically dumb black people. But that's the norm and it is and was perfectly acceptable. A friend of mine who was a student in Japan said the people were astounded that he could actually read and write, I mean black people just don't do that, again perfectly acceptable, you know, like the program I watched concerning japanese women, and there was a newborn baby girl, in the late 1990's LYING IN THE GUTTER, WHILE SHOPPERS AND BUSINESSMEN STEPPED OVER IT, BUT THIS IS NORMAL, WHEN AN ELDERLY MAN SAW THE JOURNALIST TAKING PICS, HE PICKED THE TRASH UP, AND THREW IT IN THE GARBAGE CAN AND WALKED AWAY. I mean I felt bad, but I am only a black, barbarian female, who cares?

It seems to me that every comment is racist these days. There is always someone that is going to complain. The real tragedy is that if some caucasion (white) guy said it then the complaints would be taken more seriously. The "white" people, never german/irish/austrian/russian/etc...but all folks that don't fall into the category of some sort of african american don't get to comment about anyone. I'm still waiting for the magazine Ivory to hit the stands. Of course it would be aimed towards furthering a sense of identity for the strong, white male. I believe that is what it say on Ebony anyways. The NBA is becoming a soap opera.
