Tim Lincecum has a career 2.98 ERA and has won two Cy Young awards. When his reps were asked to submit a suggested salary, they told the San Francisco Giants they think those numbers make him worth $21.5 million this upcoming season. The Giants didn't' exactly agree and offered $17 million for the baby-faced firearm. Considering Timmy was paid $13 million last season, it's unlikely he will get the full asking price, but we're willing to bet the Giants will pay closer to $20 mill to keep one of the best pitchers in the league in their rotation. If the two do not agree on an extension longer than two years, he will be released into open water and become a free agent after the 2013 season.
