Survey: NBA GMs Prefer LeBron James Over Dwyane Wade to Start Franchise

There's no denying he's the most complete player in the league.

None

For the tenth straight year, the league asked every NBA general manager an assortment of questions and compiled the results in one comprehensive survey. The GMs are not allowed to vote for their own players or team, and the results are based on sample pools, not every manager. Of the 57 total questions, one of the most intriguing was, "If you were starting a franchise and could sign any player, who would it be?"

Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder and LeBron James of the Miami Heat tied at the top spot by each grabbing 37 percent of the votes. Bulls point guard Derrick Rose came in third with 14.8 percent, Dwight Howard came in fourth at 7.4 percent, and Dwyane Wade was fifth with 3.7 percent. Although every one of these players has taken their respective teams to the playoffs, Dwyane Wade is the only one to actually win a championship. He also had Shaq, Gary Payton, and Alonzo Mourning on that team, though. Additionally, it's interesting to note that reigning Dirk Nowitzki didn't even make the Top 5. Who would you guys pick?
